Backstory

As a child Riddle was subjected to his mother’s constant pressure. He was forced to sit in his room and study for hours despite wanting to go out and play like other kids. One day, while he was doing a self-study in his room two boys came to his window and asked him to play, and he agreed. This became the only time he could be with others his age not constrained to his mother’s schedule. Until one day he stayed out just a little longer to have a Tart from his friends bakery, and was caught by his mother. Riddle was punished and his friends parents scolded. After this Riddle slowly became obsessed with following the rules, believing that his mother was right and that he is perfect. He was appointed Housewarden after defeating his almost immediately upon joining NRC, and began to crack down on the rules making the other students miserable.

Personality

Riddle is an incredibly talented student with magic due to his constant studies. He is hotheaded, stubborn, arrogant, and super strict with that hundreds of rules the Queen of Hearts had created for the dorm. This attitude at first came from his mother who groomed him to be the perfect child, student, and eventually mage. Truthfully, he would rather be playing with his friends than studying and enjoying sweets whenever he wants. Since his overblot he has been slowly coming to terms with not being a perfectionist and losing some of the edge that has been put into his head since he was a child.
